quantumrock’s Crisis Alpha strategy combines long volatility (VIX Futures), short equity (S&P 500 Futures) and equity recovery strategies (S&P 500 Futures) to deliver a well-diversified long-volatility/tail-risk product. During crises the strategy intends to bank in particular on spiking implied volatility to generate positive returns. Using quantumrock’s AI-driven investment approach, the strategy tries to predict market corrections and the corresponding optimal positions in the individual strategy classes.
