The special feature: The Wunderlich X-RACK light DirectLock carrier is simply integrated into the original Adventure pannier rack via DirectLock.

The prerequisite for mounting the X-RACK light DirectLock luggage carrier is therefore the original BMW R 1300 GS Adventure luggage carrier, which is part of the Tour package, but can also be selected as an option.

With the X-RACK light DirectLock carrier fitted, X-BAG X32 soft panniers or the brand new X-CASE X30 Carbon Vario cases can be attached to the Adventure with a quick-release fastener. Without the bags or cases, the L-shaped carrier blends discreetly into the side line of the bike – with luggage, it remains completely concealed.

The 20 mm precision steel tube and the 3-point attachment ensure reliable stability – even when the maximum approval load of 10 kilograms per side is fully utilised. When designing the rack, the focus was not only on component rigidity but also on optimising its own weight. With the X-Rack light, the Wunderlich X-System luggage nestles close to the motorcycle with a favourable centre of gravity. This perfects handling, optimises riding safety and makes the silhouette slim – an undeniable advantage in cities, on ferries or in the garage at home – ultimately wherever tight manoeuvring is required. Coded locks

The X-BAG side bags X32 are equipped with locks as standard for theft protection. Wunderlich offers extra coded locks for BMWs, which can be coded to the vehicle key in the same way. This avoids the need to carry additional keys.

Wunderlich Variocase Set X-CASE X30 Carbon

Design meets smart functionality: the smart case set for motorcycle trips with maximum comfort and flexibility

The advantage of the X-CASE X30 Vario cases is the extension: This allows the cases to be extended by 70 millimetres on each side, increasing their size by 40%. Together, the Vario cases offer 84 litres of storage space for long journeys. Conversely, if you retract the extensions, the bike is 140 mm narrower – perfect for sporty passages – for example, if you want to tackle mountain passes at your holiday destination.
