Innovative multi-colour rack labels for smarter warehouse operations

Experience shows that rack labels are often only considered at the final stage of warehouse (re)design. Yet, well-designed labels are key to a smooth workflow. Efficient labelling enables operators to work faster and more accurately, reducing picking time and minimising errors.

In 2012, ONE2ID introduced a unique concept of multi-colour warehouse labels to the logistics market. If you currently use mainly yellow or white rack labels, multi-colour labels offer a fresh perspective with numerous benefits:

1. Work faster. The brain instantly recognises colours, whereas text and numbers require active reading. By assigning each pallet level its own colour, operators can work more quickly.

2. Work accurately. Our designers use bright, high-contrast colours on the labels so operators can clearly distinguish one colour from another and work with greater precision.

3. Work safely. Colour-coded labels reduce cognitive load, helping operators stay alert and make fewer mistakes, promoting a safer working environment.

4. Save money. Fewer picking errors mean fewer replacement orders. Not only will this save you time and money, but it improves customer satisfaction.

5. Easy to understand. The colour system is both simple and universal, ideal for non-native speakers and temporary staff. Strong contrasting colours even support employees with colour vision deficiencies.

Simply put, invest once in expertly designed multi-colour warehouse labels from ONE2ID and start saving time and reducing costs.

Durable floor identification solutions

Most warehouses use floor labels for bulk storage identification. Although inexpensive and easy to apply, floor labels aren’t durable. Heavy reach truck traffic and pallets dragged across the floor quickly damage the labels. ONE2ID solves this with robust floor frames available in three versions: Standard, Extreme Indoor, and Extreme Outdoor.

Choosing the right frame depends on the level of traffic and the conditions in your warehouse. For lowtraffic areas, we recommend the “Floor Frame Standard”. For high-traffic areas, we have developed the “Floor Frame Extreme Indoor”, which can be mounted easily using polymer adhesive or selftapping screws. Finally, the “Floor Frame Extreme Outdoor” which features a recessed label for longterm use in outdoor areas, cold storage, and warehouses where floors are cleaned with scrubbing or polishing machines. If you would like to test one of the floor frames in your warehouse, you can order a test kit.
