How can tours be planned efficiently, sustainably, and practically? PASS Logistics Solutions (PLS) AG will be presenting its cloud-based software for intelligent route planning and route optimization at LogiMAT 2026 in Hall 4, Booth D53. Using artificial intelligence, the solution seamlessly connects planners, drivers, and end customers – and calculates routes specifically for the economical use of electric vehicles.
With PLANTOUR, MAPSERVICES, and PASS MAPS, PLS offers comprehensive solutions for route optimization in logistics, field service, and passenger transport. The Aschaffenburg-based company will be demonstrating the flexibility and future-proof nature of these solutions at the Mobility & Logistics cluster’s partner booth, where it will be presenting its initial approaches to electric mobility, among other things.
The use of electric vehicles requires new planning paradigms – especially due to range and charging times. Against this backdrop, powerful route optimization becomes a decisive success factor: it forms the basis for reliable schedules and efficient route structures.
Networked from planning to delivery
Customers of the PASS portfolio particularly appreciate the digital consistency throughout the entire delivery process. Dispatchers, drivers, and customers are connected in an intelligent cycle. PASS creates this network both through its own applications and through integrated partner solutions, including ZeKju’s messenger-based telematics service, the Circlon Go driver app, and Webfleet’s fleet solution.
In driver communication, tour progress is reported back to the dispatch monitor in real time. Dispatchers receive up-to-date information on tour and shipment status at all times, can react immediately to deviations, and flexibly adjust the further course of action. Functions such as digital delivery notes, “Sign on Glass”, or a customer info service with automatic shipment updates are seamlessly integrated into the delivery process.
Intelligent systems for dynamic route planning
The software solutions operate largely automatically on the basis of defined specifications. They analyze and optimize routes in milliseconds and transmit changes directly to drivers‘ mobile devices via a messenger service. These live dispatching tools make it possible to flexibly adjust routes even while driving.
PLS provides its solutions both cloud-based and on-premises from its own data centers in Germany. Customers benefit from lower hardware requirements, as memory- and computation-intensive processes are executed in the PASS Cloud – while maintaining high data security and scalability.
Since the 1990s, PASS Logistics Solutions AG has specialized within the PASS Consulting Group in IT solutions and consulting for the planning, optimization and production of the last mile in logistics. It helps its customers to conserve resources and protect the environment, provide end customers with a better service and reduce transportation costs. With innovative optimization algorithms based on artificial intelligence (AI), it offers the possibility of intelligent scheduling, which is based on the planning strategies of a human dispatcher and delivers flexible, producible results. Simple integration into mobile delivery enables digital consistency across the entire logistics process on the road. PASS Logistics Solutions AG delivers its solutions securely from the cloud and acts according to the customer-centric self-image "We deliver logistics solutions and not just logistics software".
