Gold and Its Rise

The special fascination that gold holds for people remains unbroken to this day. Today, the largest gold deposits are scattered across the globe. The underlying upward trend remains intact, even though it is still some way off the record high of just under $5,600 from the beginning of the year. The long-term upward trend demonstrates that gold serves as a hedge against political crises, inflation, and currency risks.
