Lauterbach’s TRACE32® development solutions now support AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded P100 Series Processor. Targeting automotive applications and physical AI, P100 Series processors enable deterministic performance for demanding workloads. TRACE32® tool support includes simultaneous debugging of AMD “Zen 5” CPU cores. It also supports heterogeneous debugging together with Arm® cores in AMD Versal™ or Zynq™ adaptive SoCs.

AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded P100 Series processors deliver the flexibility and performance that industrial and automotive designers need, with system partitioning, precise resource allocation, and deterministic latency for mission-critical physical AI, DSP, and math workloads. The 4- to 12-core products are offered in ruggedized, long-life platforms, offering a virtualized software stack for control and customization in production-ready systems.

Lauterbach’s TRACE32® supports hardware-accelerated SMP (Symetric Multiprocessing) debugging and real-time on-chip tracing of all the “Zen 5” x86 CPUs implemented in the P100 Series processors. It also supports heterogeneous and synchronized AMP (Asymetric Multiprocessing) debugging of the processors together with Arm® cores implemented in AMD Versal™ and Zynq™ devices. This is achieved using a TRACE32® CombiProbe with two connected probes, which enable easy multi-chip access, a unique solution in the entire tool industry.

TRACE32® solutions consist of the universal PowerView debugging and tracing software as well as debug accelerator modules. Lauterbach’s intelligent PowerDebug modules provide highest download speeds and smallest response times for efficient debugging and test automation.

“AMD Ryzen™ AI Embedded P100 Series processors provide precise, efficient, and reliable performance for industrial, automotive, physical AI, and other demanding applications,” says Stephan Lauterbach, Co-Founder and CTO at Lauterbach GmbH. “With Lauterbach’s TRACE32® support, developers gain powerful debug and trace capabilities across heterogeneous AMD platforms, helping accelerate bring-up, software development, and time to market."

“P100 Series processors provide scalable, deterministic compute for mission-critical industrial, automotive, and physical AI deployments,” said Martin Charron, Senior Director of Technical Marketing at AMD. “With Lauterbach’s TRACE32® support – spanning SMP debug, real-time trace, and synchronized heterogeneous bring-up – customers can accelerate development and shorten time to production with confidence.“
