WINDBOX II NX – The return of a classic with Intel® N150 CPU

The WINDBOX series has always stood for ultra-slim, fanless industrial-PCs with high reliability and versatile application options. With the new WINDBOX II NX, spo-comm continues this success story and brings the series back in a consistently enhanced version. Its ultra-slim housing with a height of only 19 mm enables installation even in particularly tight spaces – such as behind displays, inside kiosks or in control cabinets.

Thanks to its passive cooling, the system operates completely silently and maintenance-free. This makes the WINDBOX II NX ideal for 24/7 continuous operation in professional environments where reliability and durability are essential.

Triple Display, 2.5 GbE and modern expandability

Equipped with an Intel® N150 processor, the new WINDBOX II NX delivers an energy-efficient yet powerful CPU platform for modern applications. Especially in the field of digital signage, the system stands out with triple display support via 2x DisplayPort 1.4 and 1x HDMI 2.0, allowing up to three independent displays to run simultaneously.

For fast data transfer and stable networking, the system features two 2.5 GbE LAN ports. In addition, it offers flexible expandability: an M.2 B-Key slot allows the integration of a 4G module, while the M.2 E-Key slot supports WiFi or Bluetooth. An additional 2.5" SATA slot provides further storage options.

Compact solution for industry, kiosk and edge computing

The WINDBOX II NX also demonstrates its strengths in industrial environments. With a serial interface (COM RS232/422/485), TPM 2.0, watchdog timer, and a rugged shock- and vibration-resistant design according to IEC 60068-2, the system is ideal for machine control, process visualization or IoT gateway applications.
