WINDBOX III Core – High-Performance industrial PC for Edge Computing, Digital Signage and Automation

The WINDBOX III Core is powered by the Intel® Core™ 5 120U processor based on the latest Raptor Lake-P Refresh platform. With clock speeds of up to 5.0 GHz and an energy-efficient 15-watt architecture, the system is ideally suited for compute-intensive industrial applications, edge computing and AIoT projects. Up to 96 GB of DDR5 memory, combined with flexible storage options including an M.2 NVMe SSD and an additional 2.5" SSD bay, allow the system to be configured for a wide range of application requirements.

Thanks to its completely fanless design, the WINDBOX III Core operates silently and maintenance-free. Its robust enclosure is designed to withstand shock and vibration in accordance with industrial requirements, making it ideal for reliable 24/7 operation in demanding environments.

Maximum connectivity for versatile industrial applications

Despite its ultra-slim height of only 29 mm, the WINDBOX III Core offers an extensive range of industrial interfaces. Two 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, a total of ten USB ports and two configurable COM ports (RS-232/422/485) ensure seamless integration into existing industrial and automation systems.

For graphics-intensive applications, the system supports up to four independent displays via two HDMI outputs and two DisplayPort outputs through USB-C. This makes the WINDBOX III Core an ideal platform for digital signage, control rooms, monitoring stations and multi-display workstations.

Future-proof for Edge Computing and AIoT

In addition to its high computing performance, the WINDBOX III Core stands out with its extensive expansion capabilities. Three M.2 slots, including an M.2 B-Key with Nano SIM holder for optional cellular connectivity, provide maximum flexibility for individual project requirements. TPM 2.0 further enhances system security, making the WINDBOX III Core a powerful platform for modern edge computing, AIoT and smart factory applications.
