• Arvato Systems is set to open a new office in Oldenburg, Germany, in January 2020.
  • This will offer support to many (new) clients from the energy sector in the Weser-Ems region.

Arvato Systems will open an office in Oldenburg at the start of the coming year. The branch, which is located a stone’s throw from Oldenburg Harbor, will be up and running from January 2020.

The second branch of Arvato Systems in the federal state of Lower Saxony will serve as a springboard for further expanding client relations in northern Germany. A great number of energy and utility companies, such as Stadtreinigung Hamburg and swb AG, are already clients of the Bertelsmann Group’s IT service provider. Arvato Systems also received orders from two other relevant major clients in the industry over the course of last year. The company provided extensive services for IT operation to the transmission system operator Open Grid Europe, while EWE AG now uses Arvato Systems Application Management.

“Through our new company site in Oldenburg, we will be able to fulfill our goal of client proximity, and thus actively shape our future business development together with them. Our successful projects over the last few months have served as both a sign that we’re on the right path and a driving force for us to further expand our role as a consultant for the energy sector – which also includes being available to assist our colleagues on site when necessary,” says Sales Director Bernd Loseke.

A wide range of activities are planned to build on the company’s effective collaboration with its clients after the office opening celebrations scheduled for the end of January. These include, for example, an IT roadshow in the spring, as well as further targeted investments and partnerships in northern Germany. As Hartmut Fries, CEO of Arvato Systems Perdata GmbH, says: “We have been observing growing demand for integrated full services, which also entails challenges such as those related to personnel recruitment. We’re very excited about collaborating with our clients, not to mention becoming partners and driving forces for the regional economy.”
