Die Besonderheit des BTB Werks liegt in seiner vollständig integrierten Struktur. Während viele Textilproduktionen auf Basis fragmentierter Lieferketten arbeiten, war der Standort in Ruse gezielt auf eine durchgängige Fertigung ausgelegt. Dies ermöglichte hohe Effizienz mit kurzen Wegen, eine lückenlose Steuerung sämtlicher Produktionsschritte und eine besondere Transparenz entlang des gesamten Materialflusses.

Ein durchdachtes und vollständig rückverfolgbares Materialflusssystem sorgte für optimierte interne Logistik, reduzierte Materialverluste und ein sicheres Handling sensibler Stoffe. Eine umfassende Qualitätssicherung festigte das Produktionsniveau der Fabrik zusätzlich. Modulare Herstellung von Damenmode in hoher Kapazität

Das Werk erreichte eine Produktionskapazität von 1.000 bis 1.200 Teilen pro Acht-Stunden-Schicht. Im Fokus stand dabei die Herstellung hochwertiger Damenbekleidung wie Blazer, Hosen, Mäntel und Kleider.

Die zur Vermarktung freigegebenen Produktionsanlagen bestehehen unter anderem aus automatisierten CNC-gesteuerte Zuschnittsystemen, moderner Auslegetechnik, Präzisionsschneidesystemen sowie neun vollständigen Nählinien. Ferner umfasst das Portfolio automatische Taschensysteme und Ärmelverarbeitung, Longarm-Maschinen sowie spezialisierte Handstich-Arbeitsplätze. Etablierte Produktionsmarken wie Pfaff, Durkopp, Adler, Juki, Jumag oder Kuris bilden den Kernbestandteil des umfangreichen Anlagenbestands.

Ein wesentlicher Faktor für den Werterhalt des Maschinenparks ist die konsequente Wartung: Sämtliche Maschinen wurden regelmäßig dokumentiert und instandgehalten, wobei ausschließlich Originalersatzteile zum Einsatz kamen.

Michelin and Goodyear, both among the world’s foremost tire manufacturers, recently transitioned three major German production sites into a new chapter. To support this complex undertaking, Maynards Europe was appointed as a trusted partner for industrial asset realization across Europe.

Market Headwinds — Operational Momentum Through Maynards

The dismantling and commercialization of complex industrial infrastructures within tight timeframes represents a core competency of Maynards Europe. This challenge also confronted Goodyear at its Fulda tire facility and Michelin at two major manufacturing sites in southwestern Germany.

Until their closure, all affected facilities remained major production hubs with significant manufacturing capacities and long-standing industrial heritage. By the end of 2025, the final tires rolled off the production lines in the city center of Fulda as well as in Karlsruhe and Homburg. This marked the starting point for Maynards Europe to clear extensive factory premises for future use and redirect high-value industrial assets toward new applications.

A Proven Partner: Maynards Supports Goodyear Germany

Shortly after celebrating its 125th anniversary, “Die Gummi” — the local nickname for the Goodyear tire plant in Fulda — entered retirement. Left behind were more than 8,000 tonnes of machinery and materials. Maynards confidently took on the monumental challenge of professionally managing this vast scope within an exceptionally short timeframe.

Whether asset sales, dismantling, transportation, or recycling: within fewer than 150 working days, more than 170,000 square meters of cleared factory space were successfully handed over. Among the assets realized were over 80 tire presses, numerous tire manufacturing machines, as well as four extrusion lines and three mixing lines.

Industry Leader Michelin Also Places Its Trust in Maynards

Maynards Europe executed projects of similar scale for Michelin in Karlsruhe and Homburg, where approximately 1.5 million tires were produced annually. The global market leader in the tire industry likewise relied on Maynards’ specialized expertise in industrial asset realization to market high-value machinery and modern factory equipment quickly and professionally.

In addition to dismantling and logistics operations involving hundreds of machines, the expert team faced the challenge of bringing large-scale industrial assets — including various industrial furnaces and 70-tonne aluminium silos — from the production halls to market. Approximately 80,000 square meters were cleared, while the project additionally generated around 5,000 tonnes of recyclable material alongside recoverable assets.

The facility achieved a production output of approximately 1,000 to 1,200 garments per eight-hour shift. Production focused primarily on premium womenswear, including blazers, trousers, coats, and dresses.

The production assets available for sale include automated cutting systems, advanced spreading technology, precision cutting equipment, and nine complete sewing lines. In addition, the portfolio comprises automated pocket systems, sleeve processing equipment, long-arm machines, and specialized hand-stitch workstations.

A key factor in preserving the value of the machinery has been its rigorous maintenance program: all equipment was regularly serviced, documented, and maintained exclusively with original spare parts.

Until recently, the well-known Turkish home appliance manufacturer Beko produced ovens and tumble dryers at its central Polish site in Łódź. The plant’s closure has now released high-quality production lines and a broad range of auxiliary equipment for international buyers.

Beko has entrusted the divestment of the plant’s assets to the experienced team at Maynards Europe and AllSurplus. Of particular interest are the complete production lines for home appliances, offering buyers an excellent opportunity to expand capacity or modernise existing operations at competitive cost. The portfolio includes, among other highlights, high-performance stamping press lines with capacities up to 3,000 kN, an automated TRUMPF laser-cutting system, complete enamelling lines for a wide range of formats, and modern coating systems.

Rising Production Costs in Poland: A Timely Opportunity for Secondary Users

Beko is far from the only manufacturer reducing its footprint in Poland. Over recent years the country has lost some of its appeal as a manufacturing base, driven in particular by rapidly increasing energy and labour costs.

The Łódź site was one of Beko’s two Polish plants; the second facility in Wrocław was closed at the same time. According to the company, the steep rise in operating costs made maintaining both locations economically unviable.

Sustainable Investment or Fast-Track Capacity Expansion

The accelerated economic developments mean that the equipment now offered to the market has been kept at a high technical standard and is in excellent condition, thanks to consistent maintenance right up to the end of production. At the same time, demand or efficient industrial machinery and production assets remains strong in other markets.

“Through the sale we prevent valuable production assets from sitting idle for too long. It is in everyone’s interest to return these machines to productive use as quickly as possible,” adds Maynards Europe.

The Private Treaty Sale has been running since the end of August, allowing interested buyers to purchase not only complete production lines but also additional plant equipment and workshop inventory directly. The machinery originates from the production of electric and gas-powered cookers as well as combination units.

Im Werk in Lodz fertigte der namhafte türkische Haushaltsgerätehersteller Beko bis vor kurzem Backöfen und Wäschetrockner. Mit der Schließung der Fertigungsstätte im Zentrum Polens stehen nun hochwertige Produktionslinien und umfangreiches Fabrikzubehör international zum Verkauf.

Die Veräußerung des Werksequipments hat Beko in die erfahrenen Hände von Maynards Europe und AllSurplus gelegt. Besonders im Fokus stehen die kompletten Fertigungslinien für Haushaltsgeräte, die Käufern eine attraktive Chance bieten, ihre Produktion kurzfristig auszubauen oder kostengünstig zu modernisieren. Unter anderem umfasst das Portfolio leistungsstarke Stanzpressenlinie mit bis zu 3.000 kN Presskraft, ein automatisiertes Trumpf Laserschneidsystem, komplette Emailierstraßen für unterschiedlichste Formate sowie moderne Lackieranlagen.

Produktion in Polen wird teurer: Günstige Gelegenheit für Nachnutzer

Beko ist bei weitem nicht der einzige Hersteller, der seine Aktivitäten in Polen zurückfahren muss. Binnen weniger Jahre hat das Land als Produktionsstandort insbesondere aufgrund steigender Kosten an Attraktivität eingebüßt.

Das Werk in Lodz ist einer von ehemals zwei polnischen Standorten. Auch die zweite Beko Fabrik in Wroclaw musste zeitgleich den Betrieb einstellen. Insbesondere aufgrund des rapiden Energie- und Personalkostenanstiegs sei die Doppelpräsenz in Polen wirtschaftlich nicht länger tragfähig, heißt es bei Beko.

Nachhaltiges Investment oder kurzfristige Kapazitätssteigerung

Die rasante konjunkturelle Entwicklung bedeutet auch, dass das nun verfügbare Equipment bis zuletzt auf hohem technischem Niveau sowie in einem sehr guten Wartungs- und Pflegezustand gehalten wurde. Schließlich ist die Nachfrage nach leistungsfähigem Industrie- und Produktionsequipment an anderer Stelle hoch.

Beko beauftragt Maynards: Equipment verfügbar bis 23. Oktober 2025

Für Maynards und Beko steht dieser Privatverkauf mit anschließender Auktion auch im Sinne der nachhaltigen Ressourcennutzung: „Durch den Private Treaty Sale vermeiden wir, dass wertvolle Produktionskapazitäten unnötig lange brachliegen. Es liegt im Sinne aller Beteiligten, die Maschinen und Anlagen schnell wieder in den Markt und den Betrieb zu bringen“, so Maynards Europe weiter.

Seit Ende August läuft der Private Treaty Sale, bei dem interessierte Käufer neben kompletten Produktionslinien auch zusätzliches Fabrikequipment und Werkstattinventar direkt erwerben können. Die Anlagen stammen aus der Fertigung elektrischer und gasbetriebener Herde sowie Kombiherde.
