SLM Solutions: Move to Our New Headquarters and Further Growth

Only two and a half years have passed since the beginning of the planning at the end of 2015 until moving into the new company headquarters. On the new premises, there is property area of 70,000 m² with hall area of 15,000 m² and administrative area of 10,000 m². The general contractor Goldbeck completed the project within the planned time and budget. SLM Solutions Group AG has invested approx. 21 million euros in the building and about four million in the building site.

The move is taking place at the beginning of May. The companies Hertling and Peter Polinski are handling the moving work within only seven days in day and night shifts. A vehicle fleet of 58 semitrailers, 32 heavy cargo box trucks, 27 small trucks and four hazardous goods vehicles are moving the areas of production, logistics and development to the new location.

The 340 employees will find generous space conditions in Estlandring 4. “The new location has very good traffic connections,” Daniela Wedemeyer explained, Commercial Director of SLM Solutions Group AG. “We have created contemporary and modern workstations for our employees. In addition, there is ample space for further expansion for the continually growing company.”

With the new building, SLM Solutions has created a modern and sustainable working environment for its employees, from which customers will benefit.

The company has been based with its predecessor companies in Lübeck since 1957. With the construction of the new company building, SLM Solutions Group AG has again confirmed and further consolidated its commitment to Lübeck.
