From ASFINAG’s point of view, e-mobility is the future of the mobility industry. By the end of the year, the company would like to have brought a total of 23 e-charging stations onto the market. This means that on average at least every 100 kilometres of fast charging stations will be available for e-vehicles. This means that long-distance journeys will no longer be a problem for electric cars. "E-mobility must be suitable for everyday use and we ensure this on our motorways and expressways with the new, super-fast charging stations," says ASFINAG managing board director Karin Zipperer. Board director Klaus Schierhackl also comments: "These charging stations are the next, forward-looking step; in the coming years we will, of course, tie up the supply network even tighter for our customers".

has.to.be‘ and ‚da emobil‘ take care of the software and hardware.

The fast loaders, which will be placed on Austria’s roads in the future, are equipped with the software solution from be.ENERGISED. They are installed, supported, monitored and maintained by da emobil. ASFINAG prescribes that all charging stations should meet certain requirements. They must be able to show all current payment options, at least four charging points that can be used simultaneously and a 24-hour hotline. "For us and our e-Mobility brand ‚da emobil‘ this means a powerful entry into the fast charging infrastructure. We will offer the same concept, i.e. fast charging with a loading capacity of over 150 KW, also at our existing stations on major traffic routes off the motorway network, such as the Fernpassstrasse or the Reschenstrasse.  This makes us one of the leading operators in Austria in the fast charging sector," says Alexander Gutmann of Gutmann GmbH.
