More parts, more advantages for everybody – the German CAD software company TENADO and CADENAS, software manufacturer in the areas of Strategic Parts Management and parts reduction, are now working hand in hand. Under the name TENADO PARTS, an ADD-ON software will be available starting in June 2018, which will supplement the TENADO programs for the intelligent engineering CAD data of components.

"Our operators make use of numerous standard and purchased parts in their designs. We as a CAD manufacturer cannot capture everything in a library by ourselves. That’s why we are happy about the cooperation with CADENAS," says Andrè Kohut, CEO of TENADO GmbH. Starting in June, users will be able to access an ever-increasing number of standard and purchased parts of more than 700 manufacturer-certified product catalogs through TENADO PARTS. It’s not only practical, it also saves a lot of time: Needed parts are always available and easy to find by means of intelligent search methods. Subsequently, the needed engineering data can simply be transferred into the CAD system with a click of the mouse.

2D and 3D CAD models available for numerous sectors

TENADO offers high-quality CAD industry solutions for the sectors of metal construction, mechanical engineering, fire prevention, architecture, woodworking and traffic planning. The CADENAS solution enables users of all sectors and industries to obtain the exact components they need for their design. For example, CAD data of some of the major suppliers for the timber industry, such as Hettich or Würth, is available. CADENAS offers steel and metal construction, among other things, a vast pool of digital models for fastening technology.

With the extensive manufacturer catalogs of CADENAS, TENADO offers its customers a future-proof solution for providing CAD components, needed for their daily work. "The trend is towards 3D in many industries. Our goal is therefore to expand our supply of intelligent CAD engineering data for as many industries as possible. Our cooperative partnership with TENADO makes us all the happier, as their many specialized industry solutions fit our strategy very well," says Jürgen Heimbach, CEO of CADENAS GmbH.

"We look forward to offering our customers even more components in the future, along with even more possibilities. Thus our design software will be more flexible, faster and more networked," Andrè Kohut assures.
