In June 2018, GBTEC Software + Consulting AG welcomes its customers as well as decision makers interested in Business Process Management (BPM) already for the 13th successive year at the event series Process Days. During the cost-free roadshow, participants receive a specialist insight in current BPM issues and innovative software solutions. They are also invited to exchange their views on the future of digital transformation with selected speakers. This year, at all five venues spread over the German speaking area, the process-oriented management of GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) stands in the spotlight.

International regulations as well as legal demands have considerably sharpened in the last years. Companies face the big challenge to conform with the ever-changing legislation and new Compliance guidelines. It is also important to minimize the threats of non-conformity to regulations with a company-spanning Risk Management. To cope with the complexity of these tasks, a close cooperation between the organizational fields of Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Management is necessary.

The BPM solution BIC by GBTEC contains a comprehensive module for the modeling of an Internal Control System (ICS), enabling its numerous users to successfully organize their organizational risks. Consequently developing new solutions for its software, GBTEC rose up to the challenge of enhancing the BPM-suite BIC Cloud with a powerful workflow engine for the automatization of GRC processes. With the new solution, already successfully implemented at customers of various sectors, the full circle of an Internal Control System (ICS) from the identification to the analysis up to the control and surveillance of business risks is modeled and protocoled supported by a workflow engine. Besides enabling risk detection, BIC Cloud for example actively supports the governance and conduction of controls, as well as adequacy and efficiency tests. With the new intuitive dashboard, users quickly apprehend the status of risks and controls. „The new solution BIC Cloud GRC is already a full success with our customers. At the Process Days, we will give a fascinating insight into the new tool. Participants will directly experience how swiftly and comfortably the detection of new risks, controls and measures ensues with BIC Cloud GRC,“ says the CEO of GBTEC, Gregor Greinke.

Following the product presentation, the Process Days give a practical view into the specific GRC implementation at a major insurance company. Focus lies on the challenges of the company as well as the corresponding solution concepts for Risk Management.

Beyond that, participants can look forward to a presentation of BDO IT GmbH regarding the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The systematic compliance with the regulation necessitates risk-oriented measure management, it is thus in close relation to the requirements of GRC. The presentation will give a comprehensible outline of new legal demands and a helpful advice for flexible and tool-supported compliance with the regulation.

This year, the BPM event will take place in Berlin (05.06.2018), Frankfurt / Main (07.06.2018), Zürich (14.06.2018), Cologne (26.06.2018) and Munich (28.06.2018).
