Meanwhile, built-in Wi-Fi, NFC, 3G/4G LTE, and Bluetooth 4.0 technology is provided to facilitate high-speed data transmissions, such as over-the-air (OTA) updates while enabling real-time communication with back-end control systems.

With its wide operating temperature (-10 ~ 50 °C) and IP65-rated dust and water resistant design, AIM-65 has the durability to withstand operation in extreme in-vehicle/outdoor environments. The swappable battery provides up to 8 hours operation for long-duration usage, and can be recharged during transit using a VESA and Office docking station. AIM-65 offers 2 extension ports for integrating diverse peripheral modules, including a VESA mount dock, 1D/2D barcode scanner, UHF RFID reader, and RJ45+COM module, in order to provide customizable application-specific solutions for mobile field service, warehouse and logistics, and in-vehicle fleet management.
