The direct connection of mediCAD Hectec and Lima Corporate allows now orthopedic surgeons to have immediate access to Lima implants for their digital preoperative planning. mediCAD and Lima customers can benefit from a wide range of Lima implants in 2D and 3D in the mediCAD® database. “As of now, more than 22 Lima hip replacement systems, 4 knee and shoulder systems as well as the elbow discovery system are available in the mediCAD® database for 2D planning and ready to use by orthopedic surgeons”, states Jörn Seel, CEO of mediCAD Hectec. For the growing 3D market, Lima already is one of the leading partners in providing 3D templates to be integrated in the database; meaning that customers using the 3D software of mediCAD® already have access to a wide range of Lima hip replacement systems, with a continued grow to be expected.
