With heimatec.Skiving, heimatec has developed a new tool family for gear production on turning centres. These tools make it possible to produce high quality internal and external gears in both straight and helical designs.
heimatec.Capto™ expands the range of exchange systems. It is another modular quick-change tool system in heimatec’s range that significantly increases efficiency in set-up and changeover times. heimatec.Capto™ is extremely flexible and offers broad modularity as well as high availability of changeover inserts on lathes and machining centres.
Users of fine boring heads can now use the heimatec.u-tec CKB adaptation solution. Adapters from heimatec are available for all common fine boring head sizes, which can be used in conjunction with the u-tec® exchange system for high-precision machining on lathes.
Process optimization through digitization is now also possible when using driven tools. With the tool concept of the heimatec.Sensoric, various tool parameters such as operating time, speed, temperature and/or humidity in the tool can be recorded and transmitted to a control point.
