• Thomas Jensen to become EVP for IT E-Commerce, Mediterranean Region
  • Experienced manager joins Bechtle from HP Inc.

Thomas Jensen joins the Bechtle AG senior management team. Effective on 1 October 2018, the Denmark-native will fill the newly established position of Executive Vice President for IT E-Commerce in the Mediterranean region. The experienced IT manager will come to Bechtle from HP Inc., where he most recently worked as Head of Worldwide Channel Sales Strategy. Thomas Jensen will be based at both the headquarters in Neckarsulm and Bechtle’s Barcelona office. He will assume responsibility for the company’s IT e-commerce business in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, in addition to taking on strategical tasks related to Bechtle’s international development.

The 44-year-old has many years of experience in sales and management as well as internationalisation and business planning. He was responsible for the strategic direction of the Printing and Personal Systems channel division during the separation of Hewlett Packard into HPE and HP Inc.

Before Thomas Jensen took up his job at HP’s headquarters in Palo Alto, California, he worked as Director and General Manager of Printing and Personal Systems for the company in Denmark. In this position, he oversaw change management after the fusion of the company’s printer and PC divisions.

Thomas Jensen previously held leadership positions at Vestas Wind Systems and A.P. Moller–Maersk in Denmark. He attained his Master of Science in International Business Administration at the University of Aalborg and also completed the executive board programme at the renowned private university INSEAD in France.
