Boris Diebold joined the SEVEN SENDERS team as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). In his new role as a member of Executive Management, he is responsible for the entire technical area as well as parts of Product Development.

Boris Diebold will work with the founders to expand the strategy of the SEVEN SENDERS delivery platform – especially with regard to the proprietary SaaS product SENDWISE and the integration of additional digital and physical services into the platform.

“We are very happy to welcome Boris Diebold to our team, a veteran expert in the software industry and in scaling-up startups. As part of Executive Management, he will further strengthen the SEVEN SENDERS’ market position as a leading delivery platform,” says Johannes Plehn, SEVEN SENDERS co-founder.

Previously, he was the CTO for the Babbel language-learning app. There he helped the product and the company scale from a promising startup to a successful business with several million customers.

Prior to working for Babbel, Boris Diebold held various management positions over the course of twelve years at the management consulting firm Accenture. Among other duties there, he led complex IT projects for international transport and logistics companies with up to 250 employees.

With a degree in computer science, he began his career during his studies as a co-founder of the music software company d-lusion, which was acquired in 2001 by the Berlin-based company Native Instruments.

As Europe’s leading delivery platform, SEVEN SENDERS optimizes the processes during dispatch and delivery. Founded in 2015, the Berlin-based start-up connects retailers of all sizes with local premium package delivery companies worldwide. This enables customers to obtain faster and cheaper deliveries. The SaaS solution SENDWISE brings full transparency into the shipping process, allows seamless tracking and offers the end customer an extraordinary shipping experience.
