KEMPER GmbH lays the structural basis for its ambitious growth strategy. To do this, the extraction and filtration system manufacturer is restructuring its management board and successively increasing its number of employees. The reason for it lies in sales doubling over the last eight fiscal years. In addition, the company has set itself ambitious targets by 2025. The new CEO Marketing and Sales Frederic Lanz will be actively shaping this development as of 2019.

The actual success and the intended corporate development is to be on a par with that of the past few years will involve enormous challenges for the company and its structure. To support this path in the future, Björn Kemper, CEO of KEMPER GmbH, says that corporate structures need to be adapted: “The restructuring has already been started. We’re taking on new staff practically every week and are continuously expanding our capacities.”

Whilst Michael Schiller will continue to have responsibilities for the Production, Technical Department, Sourcing and Controlling, Björn Kemper will in future focus on the strategic development and global expansion of the KEMPER Group. Currently, the family-owned business has over 350 employees on its payroll – and this number is rising.

Sales doubling since 2010
These adjustments are driven both by business development over the past few years and the ambitious corporate targets. KEMPER has doubled its sales since 2010. The past twelve months have been the best in the company’s history and 2018 will most likely be the most successful year in the history of the company.

“Our solution- and user-oriented products plus the growing importance of a healthy work environment will continue to accelerate our growth worldwide”, Björn Kemper points out. The manufacturer intends to raise its sales again – this time by 50% until 2025.

Industry-expert developing KEMPER brand internationally
KEMPER is not only changing management responsibilities; it is also extending its management board. As of January, 1st 2019 Frederic Lanz will become the new CEO Marketing & Sales, an important role which was previously held by Björn Kemper.

The welding technology specialist and industry expert will focus on further developing the KEMPER brand internationally. “I am very much attracted by this fresh challenge in a company with a pioneering spirit, a trail-blazing portfolio and a powerful team”, says Frederic Lanz. “The industry’s future lies in digitalization, closely linked with industrial safety and employee satisfaction. It’s now a matter of getting the most out of the company‘s potential.”

KEMPER is set on attaining its ambitious targets with him. “Frederic Lanz’s exceptional track record as an international executive manager and his in-depth industry knowledge enrich our family-owned business in every respect”, says Björn Kemper.
