The Hennef-based IT system and consulting provider CONET will pool its services and solutions in the field of modern communication systems centrally in the newly formed CONET Communications GmbH. These include the critical communications solution UC Radio Suite (UCRS) with its mobile deployment support modules as well as contact center solutions and IP telephony solutions.

"On the basis of steady and solid growth, we have gained numerous customers and partners especially in the field of communications in Germany and abroad in recent years," explains CONET CEO Anke Höfer. "We continue to selectively develop our business areas with a view to current developments and challenges, and we are always consciously aligning our group of companies with the future requirements of our customers and projects. The establishment of a separate company as an organizational ‚home‘ for all our communication solutions is the next logical step in this strategy."

Michael Exner, who heads CONET Communications GmbH as Managing Director, adds: "We want to further increase the transparency of our service portfolio for our partners and suppliers, and especially for our customers. At the same time, we bundle our teams and resources with a focus on real-time and emergency communication in contact centers, customer journey and control centers. This enables us to pursue modern solutions for the future of critical communications – such as the cloud-based control center, hybrid control and contact center approaches and even technical advancements such as LTE & 5G for Public Safety – in a more targeted manner."

The concentration of the corresponding service areas in the newly founded CONET Communications GmbH has no impact on existing customer and contractual relationships. The transition of the service spectrum includes all employees working in the affected areas. The Vienna-based Austrian CONET Communications GmbH – until now a subsidiary of CONET Solutions GmbH – is now also assigned to the German CONET Communications GmbH as a subsidiary.

"We look forward to being able to develop our modern solutions for efficient, secure and resilient communication in our core customer sectors of bluelight, utilities, traffic & transportation as well as military & defense in an even more concentrated way under the umbrella of CONET Communications GmbH," concludes Michael Exner. "Of course, with the quality, performance and motivation that our customers have come to appreciate."
