For the sixth time in succession, Knorr-Bremse, the global market leader for braking systems and a leading supplier of other subsystems for rail and commercial vehicles, has been certified as “Top Employer for Engineers in Ger-many” in recognition of its outstanding HR leadership and people strategy.

For the sixth time in succession, Knorr-Bremse can count itself a “Top Employer for Engi-neers in Germany”. Certification is restricted to employers who demonstrate excellence in terms of HR leadership and strategy as they pursue the best possible continuous develop-ment for their employees – in both professional and personal terms. A total of ten overarching categories are examined, including Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, Learning and De-velopment, Leadership Development, Compensation & Benefits, and Culture.

Sabrina Grimmel-Bendix holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering and for several months now she has been taking part in Knorr-Bremse’s trainee program. “My expectations when I chose to work for Knorr-Bremse have all been met in full,” she says. “In the global working environment here, in a short time you get to know many open and helpful people. I myself work as part of a young and international team. We optimize the coordination of ac-tivities between the different production sites, helping to boost the efficiency of the supply chain. People are encouraged to come up with new ideas here and I feel very much at home.”
