• Lünendonk® study in cooperation with Arvato Systems
  • Detailed insights into IT modernization strategies

The market research and consulting firm Lünendonk & Hossenfelder, in cooperation with Arvato Systems and two other partners, has just published the study "Fit for Digital Transformation. Status Quo and Goals for Legacy Modernization and Cloud Migration".

New technologies, new customer requirements, shorter market cycles, data and platform economics as well as the success of purely digital business models show the transience of traditional business models and organizational structures. The new demands faced by businesses are leading to the need for digital transformation – on multiple levels.

Corporate strategies and product development are affected just as much as structural and procedural organisation and the IT landscape. While start-ups have the great advantage of being able to set up processes and the IT landscape on a "greenfield site", companies from the "old economy" must master the digital transformation with a grown process and IT landscape.

The new Lünendonk® study provides a very detailed insight into the IT modernization strategies of large medium-sized companies and large corporations. IT executives from 122 companies were interviewed by telephone. The results show: Digital transformation is in full swing, but there is still a lot to be done!

The complete study can be downloaded free of charge from the Arvato Systems website at www.it.arvato.com/… (German Language)!
