An efficient, reliable supply of quality compressed air is essential for the pneumatic conveying of bulk solids. KAESER rotary lobe blowers easily meet these requirements, passing with flying colours due to their efficient, low-pulsation three-lobe Omega rotors. At POWTECH, KAESER will be showcasing the latest generation of compact rotary lobe blowers – which are available with motor powers up to 200 kW – in Hall 4, Stand 236.

As complete solutions with integrated electronics, these blowers offer ease of commissioning, while saving time and money.

The integrated Sigma Control 2 not only makes the entire machine efficient, it also monitors and transmits its performance and status data on an ongoing basis, in keeping with the Industrie 4.0 approach.

This follows the trend of a fully networked complete station that provides full access to vital operating data from anywhere: Industrie 4.0 has well and truly arrived in the blower segment, bringing maximum energy efficiency, availability and sophisticated data analysis.

As the interface of the compressed air supply for Industrie 4.0, the Sigma Air Manager 4.0 master controller is now also available for both rotary lobe blowers and rotary screw blowers, having previously revolutionised the rotary screw compressor segment.

Forming the heart of KAESER blower stations, the SAM 4.0 is the key technology that enables blower system operators to benefit from all of the advantages that Industrie 4.0 services have to offer. As the central mastermind, the Sigma Air Manager 4.0 controls the blower station, ensuring minimal energy costs and maximum reliability. It analyses operating data in a matter of seconds, simulates alternative management scenarios and then selects the most efficient option. The bottom line: users benefit from previously unimaginable energy efficiency and availability.

Of course, these powerful capabilities can only be harnessed if the components of a station deliver consistently efficient performance – which is precisely what users can expect from KAESER rotary blowers with three-lobe Omega rotors and, to an even higher degree, with the screw blowers with Sigma Profile.

This is guaranteed by the CBS, DBS, EBS and FBS screw blower series from KAESER. Their superior efficiency outshines both the competition as well as predecessor models. Compared to conventional rotary blowers, the new KAESER screw blowers are up to 35% more efficient, whilst also offering significant double-digit energy advantages over many screw and turbo blowers widely available on the market.

When it comes to compressors, KAESER offers a wide range of perfectly tailored solutions for cost-effective, reliable compressed air production and supply.

One of the many highlights of the POWTECH presentation is the revolutionary new series of reciprocating compressors, the i.Comp Tower 8 and 9: with flow rates ranging from 412 to 580 l/min, they can be deployed all over the world, delivering constant pressure up to 11 bar with 100% duty cycles.

In the i.Comp Tower 8 and 9 versions, the compressor block and refrigeration dryer are rolled into an all-in-one turnkey system. The special rotation-sintered polyethylene enclosure ensures quiet operation and is highly impact resistant for maximum durability. The Sigma Control 2 controller enables connection to a Sigma Air Manager 4.0 as required.

Representing the new generation of KAESER reciprocating compressors and true to the motto ‘The possibilities make the difference’, they are equipped with a variable-speed drive motor and an oil-free compressor block.
