Delta, a global provider of power and thermal management solutions and open network switches, showcases its results from EANTC Interop Test – at the MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress 2019 interoperability showcase. EANTC’s annual multivendor showcase improves the interoperability of commercial solutions and a reference to CSP in field implementation at MPLS World Congress. It is the 2nd year Delta Electronics joins interop test as an open network switch provider with software partners, such as IP Infusion and BISDN. Significantly, it proves the validity of the disaggregation model set to be adopted by CSP’s production network over the coming years, moreover reflecting the progress of disaggregation model.

Dedicated to facilitating industry transition by disaggregation approach, Delta provides open network switches based on Broadcom’s DNX and XGS asic series, which greatly reshape CSP’s CAPEX and OPEX structure of NFVI from access, aggregation to core. Along with AGC7648 platform, Delta is also introducing the AGC9080S, a Jericho 2 ASIC-based platform aimed at carrier transport application as well as the AGCV208S, a Qumran AX ASIC based platform selected by TIP’s DCSG project for further trials.

Providing comment on joining EANTC’s EVPN and NETCONF/YANG test cases, Milo Tseng, director of Delta’s DNIBU for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA), emphasized: “Successfully joining EANTC’s test is a great achievement that proves interoperability with other leading brand network solutions. Apart from this, it has already impressed the market with its combination of scalability, performance and flexibility, and provides a big leap in the movement toward the disaggregation model in CSP networks. We encourage visitors to join MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress 2019 and visit Delta at its booth to see for themselves how our platforms are ideas for those looking to adopt the disaggregation model.”
Currently, Delta is expanding its platforms to offer and deliver higher bandwidth and richer features, ranging from 100GbE to 400GbE connectivity, while delivering more flexible programmability through Broadcom’s SDK, which has been developed specifically for CSP.

MPLS + SDN + NFV World Congress 2019 is organized by EANTC, from 9-12 April 2019 at the Marriott Conference Center, Paris. Delta’s stand is located at Booth No. 310.
