From reciprocating compressors to highly efficient Industrie 4.0-compatible compressed air systems with remote monitoring, Kaeser Kompressoren offers individually tailored compressed air solutions for every need in the wood processing industry. As customers have come to expect, Kaeser again provides more compressed air for less energy consumption and delivers the lowest compressed air production costs.

At this year’s Ligna, Kaeser offers an extensive range of powerful solutions, including both individual modular components as well as complete solutions – for every stage of a compressed air system’s life-cycle: from highly efficient rotary screw compressors for diverse compressed air production needs, to the associated treatment systems, intelligent controllers and management systems and beyond. Kaeser’s innovative solutions are not limited to equipment, however: advanced service options offers flexible and individualised servicing models, including predictive maintenance and cost-effective operator solutions.

Energy-saving components

Specific capacity improvements of up 12 percent amongst rotary screw compressors 75 kW and larger have now been implemented thanks to continual refinement of system components. These efficiency gains are thanks to further enhancement and optimisation of the rotary airend, the component that actually produces the compressed air, as well as the Sigma Profile. The new rotary screw compressors of the DSD, ESD and FSD series therefore deliver significantly better cost-effectiveness and increased flow rates – which positively affects the energy cost balance.

Compact and oil-free

Wherever oil-free compressed air is required, yet installation space is at a premium, the new compressed air container stations are perfect for the job. Equipped with a CSG or DSG-series rotary screw compressor with an integrated rotation dryer, these compact systems deliver oil-free compressed air with a pressure dew point to -30°C.

SAM 4.0 delivers efficiency and transparency

The Sigma Air Manager 4.0 (SAM 4.0) is the most important component for both ensuring maximum efficiency as well as making the compressed air supply Industrie 4.0 compatible. This powerful compressed air management system not only perfectly coordinates all components of a compressed air system amongst one another, but with its further refined 3D Advanced Control, also ensures maximum availability and energy efficiency of the compressed air station. Moreover, the SAM 4.0 functions as the central node of the system and is also the basic requirement for taking advantage of Industrie 4.0 services, such as permanent energy management and predictive maintenance capability.
