• From September 2019 Robert Hoffmann will take charge of the “Merchant Services” business unit at the Concardis parent company Nets A/S
  • Hoffmann will remain CEO of Concardis

As of September 2019, Robert Hoffmann, CEO of Concardis, will in addition assume the position of Head of Merchant Services at the Nets Group, with which Concardis merged earlier this year. Hoffmann will be responsible for the development of payment solutions for merchants and service providers. He will remain CEO of Concardis and will report in both capacities directly to Bo Nilsson, CEO of Nets.

“Robert Hoffmann is the right person for our Merchant Services business. He has more than 20 years of management experience in the digital business. Therefore, he contributes crucial skills for the further development of our products with regard to the digitisation of payment services and for continuing our growth in Europe. I look forward to building on our collaboration with him and bringing our companies even closer together,” states Bo Nilsson, CEO of Nets.

“It is our goal to empower merchants to benefit from digitisation of payments and business. With the closer integration of our companies we can now accomplish this even better. As Head of Merchant Services, I look forward to bundling our competencies even more effectively in the future. Together with the whole team, I will drive forward the development of easy-to-use and innovative payment solutions in order to provide our customers with real added value and to make cashless payments even easier” says Robert Hoffmann, CEO of Concardis.

The business unit Merchant Services in Nets employs approximately 860 people located in Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden. They provide in-store, online, and mobile payments, as well as solutions, services, and a wide range of international payment means to over 400,000 merchants, including more than 35,000 e-commerce merchants, throughout the Nordic region and mainland Europe – from large corporations to smaller enterprises and micro-merchants.
