Telecommunications provider aetka has entered into a cooperation agreement with Concardis, the provider of comprehensive digital payment services. Through Concardis, aetka partners now have the option of renting a range of fixed or mobile payment terminals on attractive terms, making it possible for them to accept all standard cashless payment methods. In order to support retailers in the digitalisation of their business processes, the retail cooperation and Concardis are working closely together to integrate payment solutions into easyfilius, the network’s own business and merchandise management system. As a result, retailers will be able to link their back office processes and design their data flows seamlessly and fully automatically. This saves a lot of work, time and money, as is demonstrated by the recently published study "Better cashless than without cash – the potential of digital payment methods for SMEs" by the ECC Cologne and Concardis (available at www.concardis.com/newsletter).

"We look forward to working closely with Concardis. The cooperation will enable our partners to benefit from the kind of innovative payment solutions which customers are increasingly expecting, as well as from the corresponding all-round service," says Katja Förster, Director Marketing at aetka.

Peter Walz, Chief Sales Officer at Concardis, adds: "Business success requires efficient processes. We support retailers with the development of intelligent interfaces for the tailor-made integration of payment procedures with upstream and downstream processes – such as accounting or merchandise management, for example. We are delighted to be working with aetka on enabling retailers to digitalise their operations, leverage their business potential and get their companies fit for the future."
