Stauff is extending its tube preparation machine and tool range with a manual tube bender, which can be operated with minimal force. The required bend is generated precisely using this sturdy and durable manual tube bender.

Stauff has demonstrated its competence in hydraulics for decades with an extensive range of fixing and connecting technology for tubes and hoses. As a system supplier, the company also provides the necessary assembly, flaring and forming machines as well as additional accessories.

The company is now going one step further: with its new type TUB-MA manual tube bender, Stauff now offers its customers a tool that is as simple as it is precise for the manual bending of common hydraulic tubes – a task that frequently needs to be done with in situ repairs or with the installation or modernisation of hydraulic systems.

The base plate of the bending tool is tensioned in a commercially available vice and the tube is positioned between the bending and pressing roller. The operator merely needs to attach the lever and apply the required bending angle to the tube. The long lever with handle minimises the force that needs to be applied. A scale laser cut onto the bending rollers ensures a highly precise bending process. The bending contour is designed in such a way that even smaller bending radii can be achieved without the tube being flattened.

The manual tube bender is suitable for steel and stainless steel tubes with external diameters of 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18 and 22 mm with the defined minimum wall thicknesses. Apart from the metric version, there is also a model available for handling inch-gauge tubes with diameters of between 1/4 and 7/8 inches.

The professional tool is supplied as a complete set in a high-quality steel case with all the necessary components and a multilingual operating manual. The eight steel bending rollers – six with the inch-gauge version – ensure the durability of the tool with maximum wear resistance.

These properties make the TUB-MA the ideal bending tool for hydraulic assembly on site
