Aurania Resources Ltd. (TSXV: ARU) (OTCQB: AUIAF) (Frankfurt: 20Q) (“Aurania” or the “Company” – https://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=299249) is pleased to announce that it has received approval from The Depository Trust Company (“DTC”) of New York to make the Company’s shares DTC eligible.  DTC eligibility simplifies the process of trading Aurania’s common shares in the United States, further improving the investment appeal to existing shareholders and potential investors in the US.

DTC is a subsidiary of the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, a US company that manages the electronic clearing and settlement of publicly traded companies. Securities that are eligible to be electronically cleared and settled through DTC are considered to be “DTC eligible”.  This electronic method of clearing securities speeds up the receipt of purchased shares and payments related with the sale of shares.

Effective October 24, 2019, the Company has granted a total of 1,150,000 stock options and 122,700 restricted stock units (“RSUs”) to management, directors, consultants and employees of the Company. The granting of stock options and RSUs is in accordance with the Company’s incentive stock option plan and the Company’s restricted stock units plan respectively, each of which was approved at Aurania’s Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders held on June 20, 2019.

Options and RSUs were granted to 37 individuals, many of whom are members of the exploration, community relations and administrative teams in Ecuador who have joined the company during the past year.  The 1,150,000 stock options granted have an exercise price of $2.70, corresponding to the pricing of the Company’s most recently completed private placement (see press release dated September 20, 2019). The options granted have a term of five years with one third of the options vesting immediately upon grant and one third vesting on each of the first and second anniversaries of the date of the grant. Members of the Company’s community relations team, exploration team and administrative team were granted a total 122,700 RSUs in Aurania that vest over a period of three years.
