Monika Pienkos is taking over the role of Director Product Development for MES specialist iTAC Software (www.itacsoftware.com) with immediate effect. Previously she held the position of Vice President Software Development at CompuGroup Medical Deutschland AG. Together with her team at iTAC, the experienced manager develops intelligent MES and IoT solutions as well as features that support companies in digitizing and optimizing their production.

iTAC Software AG is a leading vendor of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and related IoT solutions for industry 4.0. Recently, iTAC has strengthened its development team to further expand its strong market position. As Director Product Development for iTAC, Monika Pienkos is now pushing ahead with new, future-oriented solutions for high process reliability, transparency as well as optimization and digitization in manufacturing companies.

Monika Pienkos has a wealth of experience in software development and team management. After graduating in computer science from RWTH Aachen University, she worked as a software engineer and software architect at Nuance Communications Deutschland GmbH. In 2014 she joined CompuGroup Medical Deutschland AG. There, Monika Pienkos held various positions until she took over the position of Vice President Software Development for a new product development in 2017. She was the disciplinary and technical leader of several agile development teams with a total of approximately 50 members.

In her new position at iTAC Software AG, Monika Pienkos will take over as head of development and will play a key role in advancing the integration of new software modules and features into the iTAC.MES.Suite. "We are concerned by what concerns our customers. Together with them, we want to think and shape the future of production optimization. This is the focus of the further development of our MES and IoT solutions," explains Monika Pienkos.
