The cornerstone for successful cooperation of SSI Schaefer and BD Rowa was laid with the first cooperation agreement in 2015. In the meantime, several projects have been implemented successfully. “Our customers specifically ask for process optimization. This starts with fast, medium and slow movers, but for more and more customers the refrigerated area and the handling of narcotics gain importance as well. In this case, process automation includes for instance pick-up terminals. The topic was less present five years ago,” illustrates Dirk Bockelmann.
By signing a cooperation agreement until 2024, the two companies have decided to support customers in the healthcare sector worldwide in optimizing their processes and thus ensure that processes between wholesalers, pharmacies and customers become smoother, faster and more secure.
