• SFC gains direct access to Germany’s attractive private and public security markets with a strong growth potential.
  • Agreement is an important element in SFC’s digitization strategy with innovative services, modern IoT solutions, digital control & monitoring systems and new, even more powerful products.

SFC Energy AG (F3C:DE, ISIN: DE0007568578), a leading provider of hybrid power solutions to the stationary and mobile power generation markets, has signed an agreement with long-time sales partner udomi GmbH. In the context of the agreement SFC takes over the udomi existing online-portal and complete customer base.

For many years, udomi has been a successful leading German value-added reseller and system integrator for alternative off-grid, back-up, and hybrid power supply solutions for mission-critical applications with EFOY fuel cells, solar and wind technologies. udomi’s customers are mainly authorities and organizations with security responsibilities (BOS), OEMs and operators of off-grid equipment in renewable energies and traffic engineering.

SFC Energy takes over the udomi customer base and online-portal with approx. 700 subscribers. For existing customers, the password-protected web portal enables convenient 24/7 monitoring and remote-control of EFOY fuel cells via internet and web browser, plus central data acquisition and evaluation options.

“Digitization and automation are major drivers in the industrial markets. For operators of off-grid installations and equipment, 24/7 remote monitoring and remote analysis of their fuel cell systems’ activity protocols are vital system requirements. The acquisition of the udomi online-portal is therefore an important component in the expansion of our digital service offering and our business model,” says Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy.

For many years SFC Energy’s EFOY Pro fuel cells have been increasing safety, efficiency, sustainability, and the progressive automation of off-grid equipment in demanding industry applications. All EFOY Pro fuel cells feature serial interface for remote control & remote maintenance and for intelligent data acquisition & data analysis. With the takeover of the udomi online-portal SFC Energy expands the existing offering with a solution for even more advanced process and structure digitization.

“With the expansion of our digital business model we are creating new, attractive methods of interaction with our customers. Intelligent software and services are at the core of our corporate growth. In addition, we are planning further additions to our digital services, e.g. a price attractive pay-per-use-model for SFC services around the EFOY fuel cell, and the EFOY Cloud,” says Dr. Peter Podesser. “With modern IoT solutions, digital control & monitoring systems, and new, even more powerful products we are actively co-creating the future of intelligent, fully automated and sustainable off-grid and back-up power supplies.”
