The new QR bill, which will replace all of today’s Swiss payment slips from June 30, 2020, will make payments even more efficient in the future. All bill recipients in Switzerland have to adapt their software and hardware in good time to process and pay QR bills. The all-in-one solution from inPuncto & Avectris supports companies in taking the necessary steps to adapt the processes and systems for the convenient and seamless processing of QR-invoices.

Starting June 30, 2020 there will be significant changes in Swiss payments. The first QR bills are being put into circulation, which will gradually replace the usual payment slips (ISR procedure). The introduction of QR-invoices affects all companies, government institutions and non-profit organizations, as well as all private individuals.

In the transition phase, both formats will still be used in parallel, but it is necessary to prepare early enough for the changeover. There are adjustments to be made to the reading device, as well as to the accounts payable and payment software, so that it is possible to receive and pay incoming QR-invoices in good time.

“In order for every company to be able to process the new invoice format from June 30, 2020, some preparatory measures are necessary. We recommend analyzing the invoice processing process at an early stage and identifying the need for action. Together with our Swiss partner Avectris, we support companies with the forthcoming switch to QR billing, ”says Dr. Frank Marcial, inPuncto CEO.

Avectris first analyzes the current and target situation, defines the fields of action together with the customer and develops a customized implementation plan suitable for the customer. Based on this, the processes in accounts receivable and accounts payable management are adjusted. The customer benefits from Avectris‘ extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of accounts payable workflows, end-to-end process design and system integration.

InPuncto has developed another revision-proof and SAP-compliant module, which can be integrated quickly and easily. With the help of the inPuncto "QR Swiss Module", incoming QR-invoices are read out, the payment information is processed and automatically sent to the SAP system for further processing. The module enables the processing of all three versions of a QR bill.

In order to clarify any questions about the overall solution, interested parties can contact inPuncto & Avectris teams at any time.
