Raynet, leading software manufacturer with solutions for the entire Enterprise Application Lifecycle Management and Aspera, the world’s leading provider of Software Asset Management (SAM) have signed a large Belgian telecommunications group as one of its newest customers. The customer will begin using Aspera SmartTrack and SmartCollect powered by RayVentory to monitor its software assets. The key factors that led to the decision in favor of Aspera and Raynet were the broad scope and performance of the solutions as well as the professional support offered by the consulting team. Once the implementation phase is completed, the customer will receive a “ready-to-use” SAM tool, which is only possible because Aspera and Raynet are the only SAM providers to offer a complete range of in-house services.

The customer’s goals include creating a precise license balance for its over 3,000 clients and 4,000 servers. This transparent overview will provide the customer with a stronger position for future contract negotiations with large software vendors. This will also significantly reduce audit risk. The customer’s team will also receive professional project support, who will assist the customer during implementation and with evaluating the initial results. Based on this package, the customer expects an ROI in the medium-term.

“Our Software Asset Management tools will provide the customer with a decisive advantage,” said Achim Rudolph, Managing Director at Aspera. “Professionally analyzing and controlling software assets provides tremendous leverage in achieving cost savings. Our experienced team is looking forward to helping our customer navigate this process.”

Raynet’s Managing Director Ragip Aydin is delighted with the latest results of the technology partnership with Aspera: “Together we are bundling our expert know-how and thus offering the market a total solution that takes a holistic approach to data acquisition and processing. Our common goal is to win many more customers for our excellent solution.”
