Raynet, international software manufacturer and service provider with market-leading solutions for the entire application lifecycle management for enterprises and the auditing and consulting company Deloitte intensify their strategic partnership for future-oriented solutions in the core area of software asset management.

By signing the Master Service Agreement, technologies and services will be combined, creating new synergies from which joint and potential customers will greatly benefit.

The newly developed SAM Managed Service 2.0 solution is aimed primarily at medium-sized customers. The core idea is to develop a technology-based service tailored to current needs of license managers. This will enable customers to consume the new service according to their needs: The pay-per-use model is revolutionary in the SAM market and establishes a standard for medium-sized businesses. As a result, compliance and optimization reports from software license vendors will be provided in a more targeted and efficient manner than ever before.

SAM Managed Service 2.0 is based on Raynet’s market-leading solution in the field of technology asset inventory. The inventory results of RayVentory are processed fully automatically using Deloitte’s state-of-the-art AI technologies and automated quality assurance. "The quality, speed and cost efficiency achieved by the new concept are convincing across the board.", reports Jan Minartz, Partner of the Business Risk Advisory at Deloitte.

During an intensive pilot phase, the results were subjected to a "man vs. machine" comparison. No one was even close to being able to generate such an optimized compliance and optimization report.

Deloitte and Raynet offer the opportunity to take advantage of this SAM Managed Service as part of a free proof of value. Already today, the classic Effective License Position (ELP) and SQL optimization are offered for the manufacturer Microsoft. Also, SAP and IBM will be added in the near future.

"We are very pleased to have recognized the requirements of the market together with Deloitte and to develop the technologies of the future. This enables us to reach a level that goes far beyond the limits of what is humanly possible. Our customers benefit from error-free ad hoc provision of essential data in order to derive concrete instructions for action to optimize the balance sheet," says Ragip Aydin, Managing Director of Raynet.
