A.M.I. Agency for Medical Innovations GmbH presents the single-use morcellator i-Cut that is as comfortable as it is powerful for extracting large tissue masses during LASH and myomectomy.

A.M.I. Agency for Medical Innovations GmbH located in Vorarlberg, Austria, has positioned itself has being an innovator in medical technology for more than 20 years. A.M.I. is expanding its product range in the urogynecology field with the new highly efficient i-Cut morcellator, which perfectly complements the More-Cell-System.

Highest quality, precision and economical

The single-use morcellator i-Cut combines the best of two worlds: all advantages of a maintenance-free single-use solution plus consistently high cutting performance. The precision ground blade enables an efficient removal of large or calcified tissue masses during LASH (laparoscopic supracervical hysterectomy) and myomectomy.

The i-Cut is a plug-and-play solution with a simple set-up and handling in the operating theatre. In addition, the i-Cut proves to be easy to handle because of its low weight of only 400g and its ergonomic handpiece. A multi-stage safety concept to protect the blade and safety clip prevents unintentional exposure of the cutting tube. Thanks to the design as a practical disposable solution, the i-Cut not only saves time, but also eliminates the usual reprocessing costs for sterilisation, maintenance and service and ensures low operating costs.

i-Cut and More-Cell-Safe: a genius symbiosis

To minimize the scatter of cancer cells in the abdominal cavity during morcellation, A.M.I. introduced the innovation More-Cell-Safe to the market in 2015. The optic and power morcellator are inserted in two different accesses in the abdomen. The optic is protected by a special sleeve, Visi-Shield, to reduce contamination. During morcellation, the fluid and small tissue particles remain safely in the closed, cell-tight system – More-Cell-Safe. In combination with the i-Cut, A.M.I. completes the product portfolio and helps further increase safety in power morcellation. 1
