For years, there was an oversupply in the silver sector, which – thanks to increased inflows into silver-backed silver ETPs – turned back into a whopping supply deficit of 60 million ounces from 2019. In 2020, including ETPs, a supply deficit of 251 million ounces was even recorded.

All in all, global silver demand is expected to increase again in the coming years. In addition to expected ETP inflows and physical demand at a high level, demand from the medical/pharmaceutical, automotive and photovoltaic sectors in particular is expected to increase, in some cases drastically.

The Silver Report 2021 provides the latest information on demand, price development and investment opportunities for the currently most promising precious metal of all: silver!

Commodities are essential for the development of industry and technology worldwide, which makes them a sought-after commodity. The mining and commodity experts of Swiss Resource Capital AG regularly prepare special reports on the precious metals gold, silver, platinum and palladium, the battery metals lithium, cobalt, nickel and copper, as well as on the commodity that is the only one that makes emission-free and at the same time base-load capable power generation possible: uranium.

Currently the new Silver Report 2021 is available for free download:

It contains comprehensive information on the hybrid precious metal silver and also clearly shows that we are just at the beginning of a new bullish decade for silver. Not only speculative and investment aspects play a role, but also new technologies such as the use of silver in photovoltaic systems and electric vehicles on a large scale.

In addition, the report provides insightful interviews with exclusively selected experts from the industry. The presentation of a number of interesting companies that are suitable for speculation on a rising silver price completes the report.
