Biesterfeld Spezialchemie, one of Europe’s leading distributors of specialty chemicals, has appointed Sergej Lazovic as Managing Director of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie GmbH alongside Peter Wilkes with effect from 1 October 2021. Together, the two Managing Directors will be responsible for the ongoing strategic development of the Biesterfeld subsidiary’s global business.

Sergej Lazovic joined the Biesterfeld Group in 2016 as Managing Director with responsibility for the global business activities of Biesterfeld International GmbH, which he will continue to represent. Over the last several years, he has significantly enhanced the efficiency and customer proximity of sales operations while successfully restructuring the international business. He now brings this experience and expertise to the global growth strategy of Biesterfeld Spezialchemie.
