BRESSNER Technology, an industry-leading provider of rugged embedded systems, today introduced the Nuvo-8108GC-QD. It is an edge AI GPU computing platform with Intel® C246 chipset supporting an NVIDIA® RTX A6000 or RTX A4500 Ampere GPU card and an Intel® Xeon® E or 8th/9th Gen Core™ CPU. The industrial-grade hardware system is specifically designed for longevity featuring high GPU processing power. The device opens up new possibilities in AI applications such as autonomous driving, visual inspection and intelligent video analysis.

With its patented mechanical design, which utilizes its special heat dissipation, the Nuvo-8108GC-QD can optimize its computing performance for the latest NVIDIA® RTX A6000/A4500 graphics cards. The new thermal design ensures that hot air is exhausted through a sealed tunnel while pulling in cool air from the outside. The edge AI platform can offer unthrottled computing power for complex workloads in AI development and algorithm training. The Nuvo-8108GC-QD combines stability, reliability and inferencing performance, making it well-suited for transforming mass data into models that provide insights into customer behavior, among others. In addition, the systems can bring next-generation products to market faster through real-time engineering simulations for design evaluations and AI-accelerated product design tools.

In addition, the Nuvo-8108GC-QD features a wide voltage range with a DC input and is equipped with an integrated ignition control, patented damping bracket and screw-lock mechanism. A dedicated GPU bracket, which secures the graphics card in the chassis, ensures smooth in-vehicle operations even in environments where the hardware is subjected to intense shock and vibration up to 3 Grms. The additional x16 PCIe (8-lanes) and x8 PCIe (4-lanes) slots also allow developers to use high-performance or bandwidth-intensive expansion cards in order to deliver new functionality and address different application areas.
