The 35th edition of the "International Electric Vehicle Symposium and Exhibition", in short EVS35, will be held in Lillestrøm near Oslo/Norway from June 11 to 15, 2022. The EVS35 is one of the largest conference and trade fair formats in the field of electric mobility worldwide. In 2022, it will be hosted by Norway, a country that has proven to be a forerunner in electric mobility. This year, the State Agency e-mobil BW will once again be among the exhibitors representing the business location of Baden-Württemberg. It will be part of the joint German pavilion organised by Messe Stuttgart. Around 10,000 participants from 70 countries and 300 international exhibitors are expected.

"Baden-Württemberg is to become a leading climate protection country. At the EVS35 in Oslo, we want to demonstrate what is already feasible today and want to set new benchmarks", says Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Transport and Member of the State Parliament Winfried Hermann. "It takes a joint approach and ambitious goals to successfully master the upcoming challenges. At the EVS35, we will therefore seize the opportunities for a cross-industry exchange with international experts from the field of electric mobility and for the establishment of new cooperations and partnerships."

The exhibitors at Baden-Württemberg’s stand will showcase innovative solutions for electric mobility "made in THE LÄND". The portfolio of exhibits ranges from charging infrastructure and technological developments for electric vehicles to sustainable and renewable energies. The EVS conference program also features many contributions from the South-West of Germany. Baden-Württemberg’s Minister of Transport, Winfried Hermann, will deliver a keynote speech in a plenary session on "Regional Frontrunners" on June 14. In addition, several exhibitors will give talks at the international conference, where they will also be addressing their activities as part of the network of the State Agency e-mobil BW. This includes the Electric Mobility South-West and Fuel Cell BW clusters, the Strategic Dialogue for the Automotive Sector in Baden-Württemberg, the Information Centre for the Transformation of the Automotive Sector in Baden-Württemberg and the Platform H2BW.
