achelos GmbH will be exhibiting at the RSA Conference 2022 in San Francisco (USA) from 6 to 9 June 2022. The German Association for IT Security (TeleTrusT) is the initiator of the "German Pavilion" initiative, in which achelos participates together with 23 other exhibitors (NORTH EXPO, Booth 5671/2). Alongside a comprehensive security portfolio, achelos is positioning itself as a value-added reseller of the public key products of partner company Keyfactor, as well as the hardware security modules (HSMs) from Utimaco. Here, prospective customers benefit from achelos‘ profound product knowledge and customer-specific software modifications, as well as security engineering services. The RSA Conference is considered the leading international trade fair for IT security. achelos will be actively involved in the supporting programme at this year’s event, focusing on relevant security-related topics.

"IT security and data protection are the key topics in electronic data exchange and are affecting all sectors worldwide more than ever before. After a two-year break, we are absolutely delighted to attend the RSA live again with a comprehensive security portfolio of products, solutions, and services. For the first time, we will be presenting the PKI products from Keyfactor, as well as the HSMs from Utimaco, which we will enhance with our services such as development of customer-specific firmware. This makes us a attractive conversation partner," comments Kathrin Asmuth, Managing Partner at achelos, explaining her company’s participation in the RSA Conference.

What visitors to the achelos area can expect:

Comprehensive services for public key infrastructures

Public key infrastructures (PKIs) form the basis for securely networked devices, machines, and products. A PKI that is both integrated and operated company-wide offers maximum reliability, flexibility, and capacity. At the RSA Conference, achelos will be showcasing comprehensive services for establishing new or migrating existing public key infrastructures.

Generating HSMs, managing and protecting keys

Hardware security modules (HSMs) are devices that are particularly immune to manipulation. They offer protected cryptographic processes by using random generators to create keys, which they then manage and protect. These keys can be used for encryption and decryption of data as well as for creating digital signatures and certificates. At the RSA Conference, achelos will be presenting its comprehensive expert knowledge in and around secure use of standard HSMs, as well as customer specific and certifiable HSM solutions.

Security test suites for secure IT network connections in all sectors

Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Internet Key Exchange (IKE)/Internet Protocol Security (IPsec) are recognised standards that form the basis for secure IT networks. However, implementation and configuration are both highly complex and can offer loopholes for attackers if not performed correctly. The achelos test suites TLS Inspector and IKE/IPsec Inspector help detect and then close these loopholes. Visitors can experience the intuitive operation of the Testing-as-a-Service (TaaS) solution from achelos for themselves live at the trade fair.

achelos provides support for Common Criteria certification

achelos supports manufacturers and developers of products, systems, and applications throughout the entire Common Criteria process: from the application, through development and production, all the way up to security-relevant tests. achelos is manufacturer-independent and works closely with accredited certification and testing centres in its evaluation activities.
