BRESSNER Technology, international system house and manufacturer of industrial IT and built-to-order solutions, announced today its cooperation with hardware manufacturer AI-BLOX. BRESSNER thus expands its repertoire of Edge AI hardware, with a range of fanless and modular systems.  "AI-BLOX and BRESSNER complement each other’s competencies to guide companies in the development of modern AI applications," explains Martin Stiborski, Managing Director at BRESSNER Technology. "Edge Intelligence projects often require individually assembled hardware. This costs an enormous amount of time and effort. With AI-BLOX, we offer a modular hardware platform that helps companies with the development of state-of-the-art AI applications." Jeroen Plasman, Co-Founder of AI-BLOX comments on the collaboration as follows: "As a start-up in the field of industrial edge computing, we look forward to working with BRESSNER to expand our reach and expertise to deliver modular AI solutions for industrial use."

The modular platforms support the whole family of NVIDIA® Jetson™ modules in an unified form factor. As a result, the platform provides the necessary computing power, tailored for the respective application area. The entry-level solution with Jetson Nano™ module is ideal for basic AI applications. The most powerful system currently available, with the Jetson Xavier NX™ module, offers performance of up to 21 TOPS. In the next weeks, we expect the Jetson Orin™ module to arrive, which will be a gamechanger in the industry, delivering up to 100 TOPS for a similar price range.

Thanks to the modular design of the devices, the AI-BLOX platform can be freely combined with the available communication and interface modules. In addition, the Blox modules are fully configurable, so that customer-specific housing designs with special connectors and integrated sensors or communication elements, such as for 5G via mPCIe or M.2 interfaces, can be realized. In addition, all models are also available with a 7-inch touchscreen.

About AI-BLOX

AI-BLOX is a Belgian technology company that develops and produces embedded hardware blocks for edge intelligence applications. In their work as hardware consultants for companies that develop AI end-user products, the founders have seen that many edge intelligence projects struggle to find and implement the right hardware efficiently. AI-BLOX has taken this problem to task and aims to dramatically reduce the time and energy required for hardware selection, setup and deployment of AI models with their modular hardware solution.
