Under the motto "From Bavaria to the world", the Allgäu-based machine manufacturer GROB will once again be holding its annual in-house exhibition at its main plant in Mindelheim from April 16th to 19th. In the usual GROB manner, visitors can expect numerous highlights: More than 6,000 square meters of exhibition space with over 30 machines and much more.

Every year GROB organizes its in-house exhibition and every year the Bavarian company surpasses itself. As usual, each business unit presents itself at the in-house exhibition and offers visitors lots of new and in-depth information on the latest industry highlights. "Every year, we notice that the in-house exhibition is becoming increasingly important for our customers and visitors. We look forward to it all year round and look forward to being able to present our numerous highlights live to visitors months in advance," explains Christian Müller, CSO of GROB-WERKE. "The proximity to customers and interested parties that such an in-house exhibition offers is also indispensable for us."

Live machining and automation – experience universal machining centers up close

At this year’s in-house exhibition, GROB will once again be presenting the diversity and versatility of its universal machines, including all the associated automation solutions. From 4- and 5-axis machining centers in various sizes to pallet storage systems, robot cells and the GROB automated guided vehicle system: The Bavarian machine manufacturer has the right solution for every application. Visitors will be able to see the dynamics and flexibility of the systems for themselves during live demonstrations and machining operations.

Experience e-mobility up close

In the field of electromobility, visitors can look forward to a third-generation hairpin bending system for the production of stators, among other things. It is characterized by an innovative bending concept and a wide range of variants. Since its entry into electromobility in 2016, GROB-WERKE has established itself as one of the world market leaders in plant engineering for the electric drivetrain, whether in stator, rotor or battery production. GROB would also like to present this expertise to its visitors at the in-house exhibition.

Machining technology awaits visitors with numerous highlights

In addition to numerous universal machining centers, the G720F from the F-series family will be demonstrating its dynamics when machining an EV subframe in aerial combat. Visitors can also look forward to the first opportunity to experience the brand new G900 machines live at a trade fair. GROB’s new machine series is predestined for machining extruded profiles as well as giga and mega castings.

GMP300 – Shines with new features and design at the 2024 in-house exhibition

Two years after the market launch of the GMP300, GROB is presenting a machine facelift at this year’s in-house exhibition. The GMP300 not only shines in a new design on the outside, a lot has also changed in terms of technology. The new generation of the GMP300 presents a variety of improved functions, including an improved sealing concept for the installation chamber, which ensures an optimum working environment, to mention just a few of the changes to the technical details. Visitors can find out about the numerous innovations and experience the GMP300 in action.

GROB has even more up its sleeve

The areas of digitalization with products from GROB-NET4Industry, GROB service, customer training and the new and used machine center will also not be neglected at the trade fair. The divisions will be presenting their innovations to visitors up close in their own exhibition areas. Daily technical presentations and guided tours round off the GROB-WERKE in-house exhibition concept. A special highlight of the in-house exhibition is a 3D LED wall on which visitors can virtually experience various projects from the fields of machining technology and electromobility. In addition, more than 60 partner companies will once again be represented at this year’s in-house exhibition, providing information about their products at their own exhibition stands.
