FotoFinder Systems has worked exclusively with the expert laboratory TrichoLAB in the field of digital hair analysis. To intensify the cooperation, in September 2017 the TrichoLAB GmbH was founded in Bad Birnbach. Equal shareholders are FotoFinder Systems GmbH and Polish TrichoLAB Sp. z o.o.

Through the foundation of the TrichoLAB GmbH, the previous cooperation in customer care, services, hair projects and studies is strengthened. Due to the location of the GmbH in Germany, customers and research partners benefit from local contacts. Managing Director of FotoFinder Systems, Andreas Mayer, is pleased: "I am glad that the successful cooperation with TrichoLAB is now further deepened and we can work together on new and improved ways for doctors to evaluate hair diseases."

In 2015, the exclusive cooperation of FotoFinder Systems and TrichoLAB Sp. z o.o was established. FotoFinder develops and sells software, hardware and camera technology worldwide that help doctors to analyze and document hair diseases. With special cameras and software by FotoFinder, trichoscopic images are taken, which the doctor can then transmit in encrypted form to the TrichoLAB service in order to obtain a detailed trichoscopic evaluation.

The TrichoLAB service provides a good basis for the diagnosis and therapy control of various hair diseases. Leading hair experts worldwide rely on FotoFinder’s state-of-the-art technology combined with analytical expertise. Also, patients appreciate the examination, which is non-invasive and does not require shaving or biopsy.

Patients suffering from a hair disease often feel miserable. Proper assessment of the hair loss therefore is a key requirement for a successful therapy. The idea of Michal Kasprzak, managing director of TrichoLAB Sp. z o.o., was to provide physicians worldwide with standardized recording and analysis tools for the evaluation of hair diseases. "With FotoFinder, we have found the right partner and, with the new GmbH, the right form to further develop important hair analyzes for medical practices, clinics and patients."

The meaningful analyzes are also recognized in hair research. Several studies have already been carried out with the support of TrichoLAB. Doctors who specialize in hair transplantation also use FotoFinder technology and TrichoLAB statistics, for example for preoperative assessment and assessment to determine medical contraindications or inadequate conditions.
