In September, the trans-o-flex company ThermoMed Austria (TMA), which specializes in actively temperature-controlled logistics of pharmaceuticals, moved into a new location in Vienna. Thus, the company is setting the course for further growth throughout Austria, above all in the region around the federal capital. Since 30th September, TMA has been organising the collection from and delivery to customers and recipients in the regions of Vienna, Lower Austria and northern and central Burgenland from the new location in the logistics centre Wien-Nord. After the rental agreement for the previous location in Wiener Neudorf, where TMA was active for twelve years, was not extended because the landlord claimed the estate for himself, the company, according to TMA’s Managing Director Christian Lienhart, found a “modern logistics property that can be used more efficiently for our services”. The new location with its 55 employees has 341 square metres of office, recreation and sanitary facilities, more than 3,000 square metres for the storage and handling of shipments, and an additional 1,300 square metres for the secure parking of vehicles.

The logistics centre Wien-Nord is directly connected to the Vienna Outer Ring expressway S1. “With this move, we have secured a long-term, modern location that will play a central role in our expansion strategy,” explains Lienhart. “Our customers will benefit from the fact that we can improve and accelerate processes in the modern warehouse and office space. Last but not least, the reliability of our temperature-controlled logistics in both temperature ranges from 2 to 8 °C and from 15 to 25 °C was further increased by the high insulation standard of the property and by investments in the latest standard of proven cooling and A/C technology”. The address of the new TMA location in the logistics centre Wien-Nord is: trans-o-flex ThermoMed Austria GmbH, Hall E, Julius-Raab-Straße 26, A-2203 Großebersdorf.
