• A fast and easy switch from offline to online sales
  • A preconfigured online shop including payment function – can be launched in 24-48 hours without IT knowhow
  • Payment link as a secure solution for delivery services – can be sent by email, Whatsapp or Facebook
  • Three months no fixed costs for online shop and payment link

"The coronavirus pandemic is currently confronting people and companies everywhere with extreme challenges," states Robert Hoffmann, CEO of Concardis and Head of Merchant Services at Nets Group. "As a result of the closures ordered by the state, many merchants who only operate a bricks-and-mortar business are experiencing a serious loss of sales, which in some cases even threatens their existence. With our solutions we can help merchants switch to online sales quickly and easily, and enable them to make greater use of digital distribution channels and payment options. In order to help as many small and medium-sized merchants as possible in Germany, Austria and Switzerland to continue their business in these difficult times, we are waiving the fixed costs normally incurred for this service for three months. We are also offering similar support to our merchants in the Nordic countries, where we operate as Nets".

Rapid switch to e-commerce for merchants

At the moment most merchants such as clothes stores, gift shops or restaurants are not allowed to open their businesses. However, many enterprises are creative and able to adapt quickly to the current situation: restaurant owners have launched delivery services, and clothes boutiques or flower shops are looking to continue their business on an e-commerce basis. This is definitely the right approach, which Concardis and the entire Nets Group intend to support. "With our One Page Shop we have a tool with which anyone – even without IT skills – can open a full-functioning online shop in a very short time," says Hoffmann. All standard payment methods are already integrated in the system. Usually it takes only 24-48 hours until the online shop can be put into operation.

Digital payment as a secure solution for new delivery services

For the delivery services that are now emerging in a variety of ways there is also a lean and simple solution for accepting cashless payments – in the best case, even at the time of ordering and without direct contact at the consignee’s front door. This guarantees payment and is the safest way to avoid transmission of the coronavirus.

With the Concardis Paylink, for example, when an order is received a restaurant operator can immediately send a payment link by Whatsapp or email. The customer clicks on this and is transferred to a payment page where he or she can enter the delivery address and choose how payment is to be made – for example, by credit card or Paypal. After successful payment, both the merchant and the customer receive a payment confirmation by email. A secure and convenient solution – for both sides. The order is then already paid for before the delivery is on its way. The driver can leave the goods outside the consignee’s door and there is no direct contact. Alternatively, after payment customers can of course also make the pickup themselves.
