Once again, Host will turn Milan into the place to be for the whole hospitality and professional catering world. From 22 to 26 October, you can finally meet there in person again. The international exhibition will showcase the very latest trends. The focus this year is on food products, environment safety, sustainability and innovation. That fits wonderfully to the solutions that Meiko will present.

Just in time for Host: Honoured with the Smart Label Award

Before the international trade fair Host welcomes the world of hospitality in Milan, Meiko was honoured with the Smart Label Award. In cooperation with POLI.design, the leading trade fair honours products and services for their functionality and innovative strength. The accomplished jury of experts, consisting of professors from the Milan Polytechnic and experts from the industry, were convinced by this comprehensive approach.

The hygiene expert from Germany receives the Award for its new bottle washing system. In a few simple steps, the undercounter machine M-iClean U becomes a fast, sustainable and hygienic system for cleaning 16 bottles simultaneously. Meiko will present its new bottle washing system embedded in an elaborate stand concept to the international trade public.

What the visitors can expect

The German expert for professional warewashing and food waste treatment systems shows a complete cycle at the stand: During live cooking, food is served in reusable dishes. Leftovers are processed sustainably and the dishes are washed at the end. Planning experts will demonstrate efficient planning that takes into account the highest level of hygiene safety. Special innovation highlights are the new flight type dishwashing machine of the M-iQ series, which is known to be particularly efficient and the Meiko Clean Solution Circle which involves more than "just washing".

For those who are unable to attend the Host in person, Meiko will be streaming 40

minutes live directly from the stand on the opening day. https://www.meiko.info/en/host-2021

Innovation: New conveyor dishwasher

There is also something new in the conveyor dishwashers. The M-iQ series has one more new model – a new flight type dishwashing machine: it is compact, hygienic, powerful and of course sustainable. More details are available directly at the Meiko exhibition stand or at the digital Meiko event.

The Clean Solution Circle

Meiko launches a comprehensive range of chemicals under the name Meiko Active. At the heart is the specially developed Meiko Clean Solution Circle. With it, the hygiene expert comprehensively maps the washing process. For this purpose, the so-called Sinner’s Circle, whose parameters of time, temperature, mechanics and chemistry form the basis of every warewashing process, has been expanded to include additional factors such as consultation, the Academy, workflow, after-sales service and application. This goes far beyond "just washing". Practical training, individual room planning, ergonomics, proactive service and lean workflows are designed to ensure efficient use of resources.

Sucess is not single use. Use reusable.

The business of the hospitality industry is in a state of change and transformation. The pandemic and the rules of single-use plastic bans bring a lot of challenges. Meiko will show its solutions for more sustainability – with its concepts for cleaning reusable dishware, with a spectrum of machines for every requirement. Starting with the undercounter dishwasher M-iClean U, which washes cups, as well as bottles. Just a few movements can turn your M-iClean U glass and dishwasher into a machine specially designed for cleaning reusable bottles: simply replace the bottom wash arm with the adapter included. 16 glass bottles in any standard size or shape, along with carafes, can be washed in a jiffy using the M-iClean U, which can clean bottles all the way up to an external diameter of 114 mm and even lab bottles are not a problem. For larger quantities of cups or reusable utensils, the M-iClean H hood-type dishwasher with automatic hood system or the M-iQ Cup, which washes up to 10,000 cups per hour, are suitable.
